Living on Sydney’s Northern Beaches and being a devoted early riser, there is nothing I enjoy more than getting to the beach at first light for some exercise and fun. Usually it is for a sunrise surf session with my husband or friends which leaves me starving! I love healthy, natural food and the way it makes my body feel so I usually complete the morning with a bowl of my handmade muesli. I created my own muesli recipe because I wanted something healthy, wholesome and free from refined sugar, while still tasting delicious, with a high concentration of premium ingredients like nuts and seeds...the good bits!
When my son Alexander Bobby was born in 2013 it strengthened my love for early morning sessions followed by a healthy brekky as the energy and positivity I gained from my morning ritual would last the whole day. Baby Alexander loved going to the beach with us and we soon created a new morning routine where one person would surf while the other chilled on the sand with the little guy. Often it was one of my surf mates who would take a turn on the beach with Al and I started to thank my beach babysitters by offering them a yummy, healthy muesli jar. My muesli jars were such a hit and I was baking my recipe so often that when Al turned 7 months old my husband and I decided to turn it into a family business and Bobby Muesli was born!
